For the Love of Alex

In August 2020, I lost my first born son to a drug overdose, three days after his 39th birthday. Alex loved our place in Scituate Massachusetts USA. It was his safe haven. A month after his passing, a rainbow appeared next to Minot's Ledge lighthouse. I took it as a sign that he was happy to be home. In 2022, my husband and I traveled to Italy. One of our stops was Massimiliano Schiavon Art Studio. It was a no-brainer for me to commission this piece. The three figures hugging the lighthouse represent mother, son and granddaughter. The team at the studio did a superb job. I could not have asked for better.
